“Tea, Earl Grey, Hot”

Sir Patrick Stewart has died at 86. He was born in Mirfield, Yorkshire, United Kingdom. He was a highly acclaimed actor with the Royal Shakespeare Company for many years. Sir Patrick received many awards for his stage, film and television work. In 2010 he was knighted for his accomplishments by Queen Elizabeth II.
However Sir Patrick found even more fame as the captain of the Starship Enterprise in “Star Trek: The Next Generation”. As Jean-Luc Picard he was always the unflappable, morally driven captain. The success of this science fiction series (1987 – 1994) surprised even Patrick Stewart. It is said that he really enjoyed doing this series:
““One of the delights of having done this series and played this role is that people are so attracted to the whole idea of ‘Star Trek'”. I enjoy hearing how much people enjoyed the work we did. It’s always gratifying to me that this bald, middle-aged Englishman seems to connect with them.”
